The first race at Silverstone came round quicker than expected. Steve Guglielmi and his team had less than a month to prepare the car for the first race.
We came to Brands Hatch after winning the first round. The Mazda RX-8 had proved its reliability to finish in a gruelling 2 hour race, so we were very excited now about the rest of the season. This was a high standard to set so early on, so the pressure was on to perform again.
Our last week-end at Snetterton produced a fantastic result with us winning overall in class. This season so far has been incredible with us finishing every race to date, but we are fully aware our competition are getting better, so now the pressure is on to produce an equally good result this week end.
We came to Snetterton with 3 consecutive wins in class and 1 win overall from the last two rounds. The pressure was on to perform again. Last time we raced at Snetterton we endured very difficult conditions with bad weather. Even though I knew the circuit I still had not got down to really quick times as I had had very little dry practice up till this point.
