North London born Steve Gugliemi is our Team Director. From his apprenticeship onwards (two college distinctions and Apprentice of the Year) Steve has been a motor sport addict.
A glance at his career shows that it was a wise decision to follow his heart. A first season in 1989's BMW Car Club Championship reaped 10 straight wins and 10 fastest laps - a dream start, in a car that was largely built and developed by Steve himself.
He soon established a reputation for building a supreme car and chassis. Five years in the driving seat at the TVR Tuscan Rally culminated in three pole positions and three wins in 1999.
The next career move saw GT racing and back-to-back winning of TVR Tuscan Challenges in 2001 and 2002. Such success meant that April 2002's formation of "Gugliemi Motorsport Ltd" came as no surprise. It was, in fact, the next logical step. Motoring success and experience, specialist customer service and a close knit, loyal and dedicated team - all situated at the heart of British Motor sport.
